Accepting the Illness and Need Help
One of the hardest hurdles of mental illness to over come is to admit that you have an illness and need help. It is also very hard to accept an illness that is not visible and shows no physical symptoms. So many people feel as though they will be viewed as weak if they admit they need help for depression, anxiety, or any other mental illness It is our goal to spread awareness so that someone who is suffering and needs help does not feel embarrassed or ashamed to get the help they need. Once you have accepted that you do need help there are many resources out there to put you on the path to recovery so that you can live a happy, successful, fulfilling life while managing your illness.
